Hamilton Fishing With Nets Small Platter c.1815

A blue transfer printed, pearlware, small size platter in the Fishing With Nets pattern. The maker is probably Hamilton, Stoke, Staffordshire. The platter dates from c.1810-1820.

The platter is 9.1 inches long and 6.9 inches wide.

The platter is in good condition. There is a shallow chip under 0.1 inches in size to the rim of the well at 5 o'clock and a 0.05 inch flake or shallow chip off the rim at 3 o'clock. There is no other damage and no restoration only a couple of minor utensil marks. The glaze is finely crazed.
